It was that very Series and year that made my favorite baseball team the Red Sox.

Carlton Fisk and Johhny Bench we my idols at that time....because throughout my little league time I was a catcher. I was influenced by those to all time greats and it was that series going forward I followed the Red Sox....to this day.
