I think it is relative to what you play. You get used to the pitching based on your league and how much swing time you can get in.
I alsways thought the ball got to you quicker in fast pitch as opposed to baseball. Know this, I NEVER stood at the plate against a semi-Pro levle pitcher!!!!!
So I know NOTHING.
