I did face some of the fastest.. perhaps "THE" fastest... can't remember his name but there was a guy back in the 60's, 70's that I played against in an exhibition game. He was nearly a 'circus' act... his speed, his record, his trick pitches. Man I wish I could remember that guys name... let me do a search real quick...

No doubt it's a different type of hitting... and agreed, you have to get some experience if you're coming from hardball, for example.
