I'd rather swim with it than eat it...
Seriously, tho, I've just never liked seafood.. the smell of not-so-fresh seafood really nauseates me.. Anything like shrimp or mussels or lobster or crab - just can't handle it and the texture makes me kind of nauseated.. I've found that I can't simply tell people I don't like - they don't believe me or they'll tell me I jus haven't had it prepared properly - so I tell them I'm allergic to it, which get them off my back..
Now... I WILL eat a FRESH piece of blackened or lemon-peppered Mahi Mahi.. and I will eat FRESH deep-fried catfish with loads of lemon, but only small amounts and only if nothing else is available.. That's about it for me, seafood-wise.. and I wont'e even order that if a non-seafood option exists..
Bottom line, if I ate it all, there'd be nothing to dive with...!
