The most memorable hitchhiker I picked up took place many years ago. 70's I believe. Young guy living out his hippie aspirations.
I was in my pickup with a friend so no room in the front... this was before pickups had backseats. He sat in the bed of the pickup. He got it then sat facing the cargo window and then pressed his face against the back window. You know what that does to your face when pressed against glass?
And he remained that way until I dropped him off. Can't remember how far I took him but it was many miles.... all with his face pushed up against the cargo window.
Was he high and did his face get sunburnt pressed against the glass like that?
