You're lucky.. cuz, it sucks..

Not being able to sleep.. and the weird thing is that I fight to stay awake ALL day long.. then its time to sleep and BING! Wide awake.. I keep my schedule pretty tight on days I work and am off - so no real fluctuations in sleep schedule.. I've just always had trouble sleeping - even as a kid..

I don't think I've actually ever lost consciousness when trying to nap.. it feels great to lie down - especially on a dive trip in an ice cold hotel room when you're wiped out from diving.. but, I never fall asleep.. its pretty frustrating - and the longer you stay awake and realize you're not gonna get a good night's sleep, the more frustrating it becomes, which keeps you awake even longer.. Last night I took all my stuff at 9pm and was still awake at 12:20am - having to get up at 4:30am.. so am a zombie right now - until around 9 pm when I'll wake up big time..
