Two things.
First, wasn’t an option for first SIX games. What about games 7-15?
Second, who is responsible for allowing Rams to essentially get down to just Higbee at TE? Whether it had been injury or suspension is irrelevant. No HCOC/GM should allow his roster to be depleted to that point in ANY circumstances. We’ve all seen how the 12 personnel sets have helped struggling run game and yet stupid personnel decisions made an effective 12 set virtually impossible early on and then McVay still wouldn’t run it for 7-8 weeks even after Hopkins came off suspension. ‘Genius’ HC’s don’t make such obvious miscues.
For about the 10th time, I love McVay as our HC. But sometimes he does tend to shoot himself in the damned foot inexplicably. His ‘22 TE policy is such an occasion.
