There are plenty of things that have contributed to the poor start. Some personnel decisions. Perhaps the loss of some coaches. And injuries do happen to everyone.
But their OL injuries have been through the roof. Not just starters but that 2 of their top 3 projected backups (Anchrum and Bruss) also went down after playing a combined 2 snaps.
No team has really solid options once you get to your 8th and 9th OL. Frankly having Brewer play a solid game vs Tampa is a nice bonus and I wonder if they can get more from him.
Continuity matters on the OL more so than any position. It's one of the things that helped them be so good in 2017, 2018, 2021. And the Rams have had
zero continuity there in 2022.
