But if we're keeping it real though...
Though no one is denying that the Rams offense is an unmitigated disaster, it would seem that (for many) the same could be said of the defense.
And it's simply not true.
Not sure who is saying the same thing for the defense BRO. I think "most" of us agree the D is playing well enough to win every game. The main reason we are losing is due to the lack of offense.
I guess I could've been more articulate in the way that I phrase that. My point is that there have been constant complaints about "this or that" aspect of the defense.
Of course, you have the standard "soft coverage" complaint.
Then it was that the defense needed to create turnovers (conveniently dismissing the fact that they created 3 TO's in the 1st half against Buffalo).
After that it was...not only did the defense have to create turnovers, but that they would have to make a house call with it. Don't believe me? Check the GTF during the Carolina game.
It's as though it simply never ends for a highly effective unit that is, itself, flawed.

There seemed to be no input from Morris or McVay on that last drive by TB too. Obviously not everyone was on the same page on D. Someone should have stepped up and refocused the troops but no leader took charge. They just watched it happen.
Look, I'm results-oriented. So you'll hear NO EXCUSES from me on any of this.
The unit finally broke and it resulted in a major bust that resulted in an explosive play that ultimately cost us the game - PERIOD.
But to hear people go on...and on...and on. It's as though we have the worst defense in the NFL and all opposing offenses need to do is play pitch and catch and they'll hang 30 on us.
Both my eyes and the numbers say something much different.
