As I said, stats are better than people's eyes. People's eyes
don't take notes and while stats not perfect, they are more
reliable than memories.
Not sure I would say they are "better than people's eyes" but they do serve a purpose and are not the be all end all.
What I do know is that "my eyes" saw less double digit drives in the second half of the season and playoffs and I am sure the stats would show that too.
Something had to change, be tweaked or whatever but the lesser amount of double digit drives in disputable IMO. Now, what caused that stat to drop? Debatable, but it DID happen. SOMETHING attributed to the lack of long time consuming drives.
I say Morris gets the credit for whatever reason. He was in charge of the D. Whoever gets the credit is fine by me because it saved our season IMO. We weren't going to win a Super Bowl if those long time consuming drives continued.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
