I realize this is all opinions. OBJ was OK coming here as the #3 WR to get himself, hopefully, into a big payday for next season. It couldn't have worked out better for him with Woods being lost for the season within 3 days after OBJ signed. He's blossomed. Now in the Superbowl where he's likely to do well because there is no way Cincy is going to not double team Kupp every down.
Now? OBJ is the #2 WR. He'd be #1 on a lot of teams. But there is no being 1b when the other guy is Kupp.
There is also no way that players take an imaginary home town discount to stay; not when millions are at stake.
Someone is going to offer OBJ something like a $40 mil 3 year deal. Rams can't get anywhere near that. Especially when you have Jefferson on the roster.
Von Miller is a different animal. Rams traded for him. They'll find the money to keep him. Otherwise it's a very short term rental for 2nd and 3rd round picks. Snead wouldn't do that.
