Everybody likes him, so there is that. Seriously there have been some successes. He was DC of Kansas State in 2006 and that defense was solid considering the talent. He moved onto defensive backs coach in Tampa before becoming Head Coach for two years and the Secondary was stellar. As Head Coach in 2010 he was 10-6 so he had one winning record in 3 years and in Atlanta Morris received credit for taking over the defense in 2019 after the Bye Week the Falcon defense improved, which led to the Falcons going 6-2 over their last 8 games, which made the Falcons decide to give HC Dan Quinn one more year.
Look I'm not a Morris fan, but you don't have this type of longevity without some success along the way, but would I love Vic Fangio replacing him...You Bet!
