It's just as irrational to avoid a specific question. Why was the defense, all year, so deficient in getting the other team off the field, or stopping drives in crucial situations? There was no noticeable improvement from week 1 until the end of the year. Do the numbers show that that wasn't the case? Do you have an explanation?
