Every QB has bad games during a season. .
The concern is not the he's an upgrade. He is. But he's not "just a QB" this is one they paid a heavy price
for nad he has one mission-WIN a Super Bowl
Goff got there. Stafford must win one, IMO, in his first 2 years.
But it's not one game---he's always had stinkers in his season, but when he's
having a stinker, it's a pretty bad stinker with a pick 6 or worst
SO,the concern for Rams fans is this: Does the great Stafford show up for a few weeks in Jan
or does he throw another stinker---
that all this is.
It's not ignoring is mostly good/great games. It's if he has it I'm him to avoid stinkers
and give the franchise a SB win, especially in their Ramshouse
It's the trend. He was the #2 QB in the first half of the season, Rams were 7-1 and he had a huge passer rating
Since then he's 4-3 with a passer rating of 89 which ranks 22nd in the NFL in the second half of the season, with 2 games left.
Most people would think the last 7 games are more relevant than the first 8.
All people are asking is the good Stafford going to be in the playoffs (which is is most of the time)
or the bad one (which he is a lesser number of times).
No one knows.
