When he can set his feet and has time man lookout he is devastating. But when he starts moving around trying to make something out of nothing he makes huge mistakes.
I just want him to protect the ball, take the sack, throw the ball away. He isn't a guy who is good at playground ball and being adept at making something out of nothing.
He is a fantastic pocket passer, he has good ball fakes and play-action fakes. When he gets knocked around or made to start improvising he is at his worst.
If he will just start to take care of the ball, make the throws that are there and eat it and take the sack when he has too the Rams will be so much better off.
He is so much better in the pocket reading the D and throwing darts, he isn't a gun slinger and as long as he starts to understand that he has great arm talent and the Rams will do just fine if they punt the ball and he doesn't hand the other team points or picks and short fields.
Take the sack Matt.....just take the dang sack.
