I also saw his 2 INT's, but I just can't equate that to Goff and his troubles the past 2 years....I am not giving him a free ride, I am looking at the stats...he has put the long explosive plays back into the offense. They have scored more points per game so far this season then we have been doing the last 2. Our scoring was going down each year. Our scoring drives are not due to short field either they are legitimate full field drives...all of them.
I see he has missed not only on passes but also scoring ops as well, I see that, but I can't honestly put him on the level of how Jared was running the O 2019-2020.....Jared was not generating offense, yes Stafford has had some bad passes, he's generating offense despite his errors....Jared wasn't any where close to doing it......He just wasn't.
You ask how I would react if Goff was missing all these passes...I'd be pissed because he would not generate any points despite the misses. Secondly to be honest he would not be throwing these deeper passes to begin with, the ones Stafford is missing on are deeper routes....almost all of them, Goff wouldn't be attempting any where near the number of deeper routes.
You see in my eye he may miss a pass here and a pass there that could have been a big play, but I also see he does hit it later on...Goff would try one, miss it and never go back instead he'd go back to the short game and get us no points.
