Lawler really showed something in the preseason. I don't think Okoronkwo has ever shown much of anything. Lewis has lots of ability, but will he ever be healthy enough to realize it? I can understand taking a chance on Lewis because he has shown flashes of exceptional abilities, but Okoronkwo hasn't shown anything that I have noticed.
The only thing I can think of is the coaching staff sees more potential out of Obo and Lewis. I thought Lawler was a shoe in to make the team the way he played in preseason.
