Henderson was their back up plan and he is hurt again and the season hasn't even started. I still think he will be a huge part of the offense, but he will split carries to save on the wear and tear on his body

If they felt Funk or Jones were ready to step up and be feature backs, they would have stood pat (no pun intended). I think they can contribute, but in a limited role.


Obviously they value Sony a lot as they traded picks for him and were ultra confident in the rest. He essentially a 1000 yard back who split carries in New England and was banged up last year. Great low risk signing, IMHO.
