Re: Why trading for Sony Michel was a mistake by the Rams…

August 26, 2021 12:29PM
To me this article was written by someone who knows very little about the Rams and writes a negative article for clicks and not an accurate article based on what the Rams need and what the Rams did to fill that need.

Ifs and buts....The Rams weren't going to get him without going and getting him. No way he maybe gets cut and then maybe falls to the Rams through waivers. The Rams did what successful people and teams do...they made a decision and made it happen.

Snead does great with the draft picks the Rams do have. The roster is the youngest in the league. For what its worth ill take his and McVay's thoughts on needs for this team over his all day and every day.

The Rams RB coach knows him and the Rams went out and got him, to me that says more about him and his value to the Rams then some run of the mill writer looking for clicks for his negative opinion.

The Rams needed a RB and they went and got one they wanted and didn't wait for the maybes to happen, maybe he gets cut by NE? Yea maybe but then he has to fall past a bunch of teams before the Rams even have a shot to add him, they made sure they got who they wanted and in the process added much needed talent and depth to the RB room.

I will say this now, Sony will play a huge role in the Rams success this season. This wasn't just a move to make a move, this was the Rams getting who they wanted, who fits what they needed and added talent at a very important spot on this offense.

Sony is talented, with him and Hendu I feel a ton better about this team then I did with Hendu and the young backs they had that didn't do much for me in what I had seen so far in the preseason.

This move will prove to be a huge positive move for the Rams.....exactly the opposite of what this "writer" says.
