Perkins is definitely intriguing but Wolford is McVay’s preference as #2.
Question is whether Rams want to keep Perkins on the 53. I say that it’s doubtful. Too many other young studs that have earned that right and can contribute on the field for the Rams this year.
Perkins would not see the field this season as either a member of the 53 OR as a member of the practice squad barring catastrophic injuries to both Stafford and Wolford in which case we’re screwed anyway.
Besides, I make it 90% that Perkins clears waivers and makes it to the PS. Remember, any claim made forces that team to keep Perkins on their 53 and they also have their own young studs they want to retain. It’s a universal league situation.
