You were on the Goff train conveying he was never as good as his stats displayed a year before I was.
I defended him the best I could until the 2019 season transpired.
I got blasted for posting he was on the hot seat prior to the 2020 season opener vs Dallas.
I had a strong hunch McVay was moving on from him but I kept it in check the best I could.
I've not been a big fan of the board since that time but I accept it and still enjoy reading many of the posters on The Herd.
Goff's gone now and I won't blast him anymore.
If he fails or looks barely above average as a Lion, I won't get any satisfaction from it.
I will admit, I'm still in la la land that McVay and company pulled this trade off.
Your hunch was correct Mr. Florida_Ram! I didn't think so at the time and disagreed with the Hot Seat posts and was one who "blasted" you about it.
Maybe I was in denial. lol I thought he would play better than he did. You saw his problems before I did.
I can admit when I was wrong. You Sir, were correct. I was wrong. Goff absolutely should have been on the "hot seat"!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
