i agree with all you said but I think your post was in the context of actual game play. Which sort of buries the lead with this report. Because the fact that Goff isn't taking downfield shots in practice is significant IMO. I think it's far more understandable when a QB doesn't want take as many shots deep in a game, especially if he's under orders to protect the ball. But in practice? Were these 11 on 11 or 7 on 7 drills?
