over at the Chargers is Staley a savant on defense or will this year show it wasn't so much the scheme as it was the players. Sure the bolts have an elite pass rusher (Bosa) and an elite 2ndary player (James) but they aren't the leagues best corner (Ramsey) and best player AD. It is possible that the Rams could remain on top of the NFL on defense just as dominant but maybe in a different way because when you have the top two defensive players in the league...This will be a very interesting x's and o's vs Jimmy's and Joe's argument. Maybe last year's advancement was more an aspect of Ramsey and AD playing together for a full year instead of some cover 3 brilliance, we shall see.
