It is the court system. The NFL can weigh in and suspend him or whatever too and that's fine. But he's a young guy who got a bit full of himself and made some mistakes he is going to need to pay for.
I don't believe in throwing people away because they made a mistake. You let the legal process run its course then help the guy rebuild himself. I am sure by the time this is all over he'll be a different dude who is a lot wiser and knowledgeable about the world and right/wrong. And if he gets the right help he can be a benefit to a community too.
But if you think one mistake means a guy should burn in purgatory until the electronic lynch mob is sated or whatever it is you believe, I'm fine with that. That's your opinion. I just think sometimes we forget people are human and make mistakes, especially nowadays with cancel culture. Cancel culture does indeed have to do with this conversation as well.
