Tom Brady, or more accurately the Tampa Bay Bucs, started this trend by giving Brady input into how the team is built. Now every star QB is going to want that input. And honestly, why shouldn't they have it? Stars are the ones who make the league money. Once they understand they have leverage they will use it.
I see this going the way the NBA functions with the star QBs gaining more and more sway.
You always seem to think the teams have the most leverage when in reality, it's the elite players that generally come out on the winning end of any standoff. This issue will be no different.
