The pick the Dolphins gave up - #3 overall - is worth 2,200 points
... and the picks the 49ers gave up:
2021 #12 overall 1,200 points
2021 #102 overall 92 points
2022 1st rounder 420 points (using the convention that future picks are discounted 1 round for each year in the future, and then looking at the middle of that round for the value. (420 is the 16th pick of round 2)).
2023 1st rounder 190 points (the value of the 16th pick in the 3rd round)
Essentially the 49ers gave up 1,902 draft value points to get 2,200 draft value points in return. (Maybe the Jets are banking on the 49ers drafting in the top 10 in 2022 and/or 2023? If they do this deal could turn in the Jets' favor.)
