I had criticisms of the way the Rams handled the initial revelations that the starting qb spot was up in the air. That was mostly Snead. I thought he handled that question poorly.
This interview, McVay says all the right things, and a lot of it is sincere. Revealing that they 2 of them talked was good too.
McVay puts a lot of it on himself and a lot of that is PR, as you say. A lot of it was just saying the right thing. And there's nothing wrong with that.
But I thought this one bit was dead on right and sincere:
I think I could have been much better about those real-time communications.I think that is real and that the issue was pretty clear.
