You are operating under the assumption that Goff had to be included in the trade. By all reports (and by Snead saying that there are always ways of getting out from under Goff's contract) the Rams gave up assets to dump Goff.
You're looking at it the wrong way....the Rams weren't going to get Stafford with just giving them two future 1st and a 2021 3rd.
like I said, would you rather get a 3rd and future conditional 2nd or get Matt Stafford?
Most people would rather get what the Rams got with Goff over what the Eagles got for Wentz
