All they're doing is empowering Roseman's attempts to reduce the impact of missing on Wentz. Being that team that overpays for failed high end draft picks is a bad place to exist IMO.
Darnold is a good target for a conservative GM like Ballard. So is Minshew. Then draft a guy and have an open competition along with Eason who they took last year.
It's really what the Rams should have done if they had a more normal leadership group. But I'm behind Stafford's addition of course because he's a lot better than those other options and comes with a ton less risk.
