I didn't address that issue. The one I underlined. I was only talking about this: you had said that IF they were both up for trade in an open market Goff would bring in about the same as Wentz. That's what I disagreed with, that particular hypothetical scenario. You said this:
If the rams had waited, they could have likely received compensation around what Wentz may bring. My point was that Goff would likely have brought in more than Wentz can bring.
Just spitballing about a hypothetical situation.
Obviously the whole point of the trade from the Rams side was to get Stafford, so the hypothetical never came up in reality.
