I believe Goff was likely worth a couple of 2nds or a low first, lowered value because of his contract obligations. If the rams had waited, they could have likely received compensation around what Wentz may bring.
I would think it would be more than that.
Wentz flat out collapsed in 2020 and there are reasons to doubt his future.
Goff had 4 bad games in 2020 and there are reasons to think he can rebound (like his play in the post-season).
They're not the same animal.
I mean we're comparing a 67% completion percentage to 57.4%, a 2.4% INT percentage to 3.4%, a 90 avg. qb rating to 72.8, 7 games with a 100 or over qb rating to zero.
