Those fantasy numbers are just total plays that went over 20 yards which is not the same as passes thrown in the air for 20 yards or more. A lot of it for Goff is because he has the #1 and #2 best RAC receivers in the game with Kupp and Woods.

Per PFF, here's the numbers for passes thrown for 20+ yards over the last 2 years:

Goff: 31 comp. / 101 attempts; 31% comp. rate.
Stafford 51 comp. / 123 attempts; 41% comp. rate.

For fantasy football, it doesn't matter how the play went over 20 yards.

In real life it does. Here's how they stacked up in 2020 per PFF.

Stafford was 9th versus Goff's 21st in deep shots this year.
Stafford was #11 in deep shot percentage; Goff was 37th out of 39.
Stafford was tied for #6 in deep shots completed; Goff was 26th out of 39
Stafford was #15 in deep shot comp. %; Goff was 31st out of 39
Stafford was #4 in deep shot NFL Passer Rating with a 123.8; Goff was 32nd out of 39 with a 71.5.
