They are too young, too good, and too versatile to be traded. That would only create another hole. They are also signed for a few more years, so the team knows exactly what the cap impact is for 2 of the top 3 WR positions.
From a depth perspective having overlapping skillsets is not bad. But sometimes you have to trade from a strength to improve a weakness.
In this case, IF Jefferson can't fill the deep-threat role, they will go out and find someone else, and Jefferson will not get much usage. And the idea is it wouldn't be creating another hole because Jefferson is already there to fill that hole. If you really have 2 Kupps or 2 Woods, you haven't created a hole when you trade one of them.
