Not everyone fell off some purported bandwagon. I still think Goff is a good if not elite qb. The Rams could easily be winners with Goff. The hope is that Stafford can go further and win the SB. Maybe-but I don't see the difference is so great that to get to the SB and win we HAD to get Stafford notwithstanding he has gifts that Goff doesn't. To do that we need to do a lot more than acquire Stafford. Lets hope they do.

As a fan of both I have never felt if only we had Stafford.

McVay apparently is not me and that is fine. But as a fan of both I know that Goff is a more accurate passer and when asked to get a win he did way more times than Stafford could with Detroit. Stafford was in position to win games regardless of the franchise and I was impressed when he did but I know he had drives fall short due to bad passes or turnovers etc. He is aggressive and has earned that right over 10 years experience but Goff did not have that luxury imo.

Both QBs on new teams need to adapt and grow. One older and one still very young with a nice resume. I the 3rd person in the equation for Rams is our HC and he will need to grow as well.
