I get the feeling that the meeting between Goff and McVay in which they disagreed about Wolford starting @Seattle was pretty contentious. I just don’t understand why McVay and Snead are letting the press run with this story. The Rams since Snead has been GM usually are pretty tight lipped about personnel issues.

Agreed it's unusual. I think this is one way to signal to the market you are open to trade without trying to hurt your position that you WANT to trade.
