The wild thing is the very posters
everybody knows who they are
That have taken the time to post over and over and over.
That all we need from Goff is to be efficient protect the ball don't collapse make a couple of plays and everything will be great.
He does exactly that like to a T
and now the narrative is changed by those very posters. It's just amazing to me.
I'm not here to say Jared was or is all world ...he was 21-27 174 yrds a TD no turnovers ...our RB had 90 yrds and TD...going into that game
90% of would have said that's a recipe that could beat the Packers..and I would say most of us would surely not think those numbers would get us beat by 2 TDs.
Pure and simple the GB offense bulldozed the #1 defense...that's the story.
I have no problem with people that don't think Goff is good enough
and even back it up with #s QB ratings etc ...
But don't load the deck against him both ways
Meaning use the numbers when it fits the "Goff Sucks" narrative
And then completely dismiss the numbers when it doesn't fit that narrative.
I do think the rift between Goff and Mcvay is real....and I do think a lot of you will soon get your way of a new QB ...I sure hope that's a guy like Watson....
But I'll be paying close attention to see if the next guy is held to the same standards ....or if it fails miserably what the thought process or revaluation will be?
Goff might not be elite ...
But he sure is the most damned if he does damned if he doesn't QB in Ram history
