If you want to say that Goff proved himself with the numbers he put up compared to the other guys you can do it, but it just doesn't do a thing to make Goff look as though he is/did play well. You are lowering the bar to a pedestrian game for an NFL starting caliber QB. Using a rating system to show it.....Now if he had a game of say 27/43 4 TD's and 2 INT's and 315 yards that would be a 97 rating.worse than what he did against GB, but his numbers would have given us an out put of at least 38 points (4TD pass/1 run and a FG.....Now that would have been a lot better shot at Rogers 32 points. If he had a game like that you could maybe compare him to those other guys in the playoffs and it would have much more merit as well.

IMO you must consider the data put into to get that rating and what it meant on the field to start saying he has played better then those other guys.....if he had that same rating but had an impact on the game with that rating you'd be on to something.
