Fans have ALWAYS loved QBs that can run. Exciting. Problem is, when an NFL QB's highlight film is about his running, that's not good.
I think McVay finds himself in a pickle. Goff has not inspired any confidence recently. On the other hand, Wolford just won what amounts to a playoff game and only turned the ball over once, early. Goff has become a turnover machine.
If you have an elite D like the Rams have, you don't want to waste it by giving the other team the ball on turnovers. And you don't want negative plays. So, if you're McVay, who do you think will do that best against the Seahawks?
I believe that person as of today, for a variety of reasons, is Wolford. Not the least of which is the ability to get out of bad plays with his legs. But he's also a good passer with a live ball. And he doesn't seem like "bombs away" and throws caution to the wind.
But no matter who McVay decides on, he's only right if the Rams win. They don't win, and the decision will be seen as stupid and wrong. All this by fans and the media of course who jump bandwagons faster than a grasshopper jumps leafs.
