I really like both guys so for me it wouldn't be a Goff vs McVay type of thing.
But a lot of what you wrote makes a lot of sense.
It's a tough spot right now I'm interested to see how the week progresses. I also can't Imagine Goff being ready in such a short time period. I actually worry Goff will push himself out there too soon....not because he's worried about Wolford and his job security ...but because as you already know with Cal background despite his calm demeanor Goff is a "gamer" very tough and competitive.
I'd be almost relieved if the docs just lay it out no way no how can he play this weekend.
Side note was wondering if you ever got to meet Jahvid Best while at Cal?
My nephew was fullback/Linebacker at Salesian HS with him they won a state title together ..,great kid great family hoping he's doing ok after football and his concussion issues
