It’s mind boggling that some guys are still clinging to the same excuses for Goff even after Wolford exposed them as untrue.
Some guys refuse to entertain the idea that Goff has regressed on his own. He’s playing scared, afraid of turnovers, doesn’t read the field as well as he should in his 5 year,
I love what Wolf brings to the team, but let's not get this twisted.....
Comparing Goff vs Wolford vs the same defense just weeks apart and the numbers aren't even close
Goff 37-47 for 351 1 TD 1 ruTD 0 INT 38 points(defense scored 7)
Wolf 22-38 for 231 0TD 1 INT 18 points(defense scored 9)
If those numbers were flipped you would have an outstanding point.....
Let's try to keep things in perspective a bit.....
All true, R2K, but to be fair...
Wolford was hobbled by lack of Kupp, Hendy, and had an injured Akers starting that was obviously hurt and a mere shell of himself. IOW, Rams lacked a credible running game threat that the Cards would have to honor.
In that light, Wolford impressed greatly. You’ve said so yourself.
If both QB’s are healthy this is a no brainer decision. But Goff’s hand is far from 100%.
