Apparently not THAT quickly. Cause according to your theory it took more than 2 years to figure Goff out.

And of course that's leaving out (as some people often unaccountably do) that the 2019 OL was a mess.

And of course in recent games it means leaving out that the Jets and Seattle both dominated the Rams OL. Which in both cases was the single most significant contributor to the loss. Wonder why that didn't happen while Whitworth was playing.

It's the Rams fault though for having one of those rare qbs who does not play well when their OL is a mess.

Nah, it turns out he was figured out in 2018. We just didn't know it then.

The 2019 OL was a mess in the 1st half of the season. They stabilized afterwards and if I recall correctly you acknowledged as much last year and in the off-season. I don't think Goff performed better even after the OL improved in the 2nd half of 2019. It just may be convenient NOW to say that the OL was a mess the whole year but that's not the case at all.

Goff hasn't had a good season even when the OL hasn't been dominated. Moreover, yesterday he made several very bad decisions that cannot be pinned on the OL. He has running lanes and chooses not to run, he slides early, he doesn't run out of bounds when he should but instead heaves a ball that's intercepted, etc. None of that is on the OL.

And it sounds like you're agreeing with me now. I said it last year and I'm saying it again: Goff NEEDS an elite OL.

When Whit was playing, the offense wasn't good. The majority of their games this year are still under the league average. This is an undisputable FACT at this point.

I know you like to point to the coach, the OL, the defense, and everyone but the QB but we have a really bad offense and Goff shoulders a lot of the responsibility for that. Not all responsibility but a lot.
