Many felt Faulk was more MVP caliber than Warner. I get that. I understand why. An offensive system that elevates the play of key performers requires the complimentary talent. We have very good and versatile WR who because of our QB have had career elevation wich is hard to deny it. You list some Elite caliber QBs. Where is their availability?
Goff is not a Jag He can put up numbers with the best and beaten the best when our defense has bearly been able to contain them.. Goff is not elite and not sure he can be until we get him comparable weapons as each of those elite qbs have. Goff operates differently this year than in past and having to move this team differently. Our WRs and TE are also operating differently and finding production using a different measuring stick that you accurately measure against the leagues best but not in TDs or Explosive plays so there is that.
Look I want better from anyone I feel is better but the coaches have to make the corrections and find ways to make us better. Perhaps winning ugly or being hot and cold is a shared responsibility. I have seen a trend I don't like on this board but will live with.
Blami g Goff for not being perfect and no one else. Goff is not elusive like Wilson or as quick on his feet finding WR when being chased so that's when you look to improve where we lack because changing QBs like coaches is a fools errand unless you know you will land better.
Its easier to find a better blocker and to Add a contested ball receiver as well as a deep threat.
