McVay had Colt McCoy at a 96 rating and Cousins was a mid round pick. I really don't think that Goff is doing something that many other QB's couldn't closely replicate. Especially if much of the $135M went to upgrade other areas.
McCoy played a whopping four games and went 1-3 under McVay in 2014
Cousins went 17-14-1 in two years and averaged a 99 rating in those two year (101- 97)
Goff went 24-7 in his first two years with McVay
Goff is 44-22 under McVay and three playoff trips in four years(would have been 4 for 4 if GZ makes a 44 yard kick in Sea last year) and and NFC Championship
Could it be better? Of course.....
Could it be worse? Ask the Eagles how Wentz is doing these days
