Problem Prothro was better at personnel then being a game day Head Coach and was fired in 1978 after his best record with the Chargers was 7-7 and replaced by Don Coryell, who along with Bill Walsh were the two Coaches I wanted the Rams to hire to replace Chuck Knox in 78 and not George Herbert Allen Part 2.
