I just don't want to throw him in there and give him "too Many" rep's immediately. You know those big guys, they go in and pull a hammy or twist an ankle, then they are out for an even longer period of time.
I know, he's a veteran....But, slide him in there for about 10-12 plays on Sunday. Let him get a taste of it again.
Then, after the bye week, with a game under his belt....Then, we can keep upping his snaps.
One thing is for sure, he'll be what he's advertised, a BIG DUDE to help stop the run. More help to get Aaron Donald loose and attacking the QB!
