Edwards did an admirable job at guard but isn't a guy you want there long term. It's possible that he's a RT or just a swing lineman on a good line.
NB and Corbett were both drafted in 2018. They probably scouted Corbett in 2018 because AC caught people's eye at the Senior Bowl and the Rams tend to notice Senior Bowl players. (Corbett was also a 3-year captain in college.)
Evans and Edwards are a year behind those 2.
On top of it, some are acting as if those who do not get starting jobs in 2020 it's because of a lack or failure of some kind. It could actually be that the Rams have several good candidates for these spots. So Corbett starting over Edwards does not mean Edwards has problems.

That last paragraph is a nugget, zn.
Kinda like Slater being behind other extremely qualified starters his first 3 years as discussed elsewhere.
It’s very possible that the Rams really like their OL prospects 8-9 deep. Now THAT’S a happy thought. Might be hard to swallow by certain posters that have been negative on our current OL players since before the draft. Cough, cough...
