I didn't notice the date on the Ramswire article but now that you mentioned it we have this perspective:
October 22, 2019: the Rams were 23rd in the league with a block win rate of 54% (from the Ramswire article)
January 27, 2020: the Rams were tied for 22nd in the league with a block win rate if 57% (from the ESPN article)
That first article came out after the Rams first 7 games (based on the date of the article and the fact that it includes Edwards' first start, which was game 7). They only improved by one spot over their last 9 games.
Interesting how stats can differ from one’s impressions of that ‘2nd half of season’ OL, huh?
My memory was of an improved OL with the newbies. Significantly improved, at that.
