No I don't believe anyone would ever do that-but that is not my point ! And I think you know it by now-whether you agree or not. Its using a hypothetical to make a point much like your "executing the losing qbs ..." the number of posts today alone, on the state of the uniform and design of the helmet, point out the significance of the cloth, colors, design, and the plastic. I strongly believe that if the Rams went to an all black uniform and helmet with no horns a huge number of fans-much like Max-would root for some other team. Why? As Bob Dylan would sing: "the answer my friend is blowing in the wind".
Anyway to quote yourself: "Carry on if you have to. ...if I continued I would just be repeating myself... "
But no one would ever do that, W, because those things are inseparable. So it's not just one thing. You can't separate the
tradition, the
memories, the
history, and the
symbols. So no one would ever try. Therefore since those things are inseparable--we don't follow just one thing.
Inventing an impossible hypothetical just proves it. We know no one would ever do that. Because the Rams aren't just ONE of those things and you cannot separate those things. Which is why we know no one would ever do it.
We don't just follow one thing. You know that. Your own experience tells you that.
Which is why I see your hypothetical as a loaded question. The hypothesis you ask about is impossible. It's impossible because we don't just follow one thing and they can't separate those things.
