2 olb's.....
Because Staley wants versatility in his defense....The kind of versatility that drove McVay nuts. IMHO, DLINE and SECONDARY for the Rams are just fine. LB's are where you confuse the offense. If your LB's can blitz, but still can pass cover like Littleton, then who knows who's blitzin' the QB?
That's Staley's defense.
2 WR's......
Because Cooks pushed those safeties deep. I want a WR that can just do that his first year! Line up and be a deep threat, the rest will take care of itself with coaching. NFL has press corners, so 1 of these 2 better get off a press corner......Then, we are set! Bye, bye Cooks.
2 OLINE....
1 is our starting Center hopefully......The Guard is for improvement and depth.......No OLINE, then no running game.
RB.......I'll agree....If there's a stud at 52 or 57. then by all means grab him.......I like the RB by committee like the Saints do.....It's just like rotating DLINE where everyone is fresh and rotated in.
Well, maybe you can have your cake and eat it, too, oldschool.
If Snead can negotiate 1-2 trade downs then there will be at least one pick for the needed RB and those other multiple picks at those other positions. The names might change, but the net outcome would be far more balanced.
Myself, I’d prefer just getting one player at each of your positions and getting a CB, S, and backup QB late. But that’s just me.
