The Rams' greatest failure last season was running the ball. Gurley dropping from elite DVoA and SR rates to bottom of the barrel is the kind of change that will affect any QB's statistical production. And still this offense finished T-10th in the league in scoring in spite of that disastrous run game, 8th in yards per pass attempt and 5th in passing yards per game.

Sure, Goff had a poor season in comparison for a guy many of us had expected to be even better in 2019. But he's a young QB with a great work ethic and plenty of talent. And he also did a lot of good things and had us at what should have been a 10-6 record despite a very tough situation and the dude handled it with grace.

Anyway. I had a friend of mine actually compare him to Trubitsky ffs. It's ridiculous out there wrt Goff, and I'll say right now if he was the poor QB everyone seems to think he is our points would not have been anywhere near that upper third in the league.
